Fremantle Graduation Ceremony and Mass

  • Fremantle Ceremony A – March 2026

    Graduation Mass:

    Date: Tuesday 17 March 2026
    Time: 5:45pm (arrive by 15:15 for the procession)
    Location: St Mary’s Cathedral, 41 Victoria Square, Perth WA 6000

    Graduation Ceremonies:

    Date: Thursday 19 March and Friday 20 March 2026
    Time: Multiple day & evening ceremonies. Students will be allocated a ceremony time & date according to their school. Further details available in 2026.
    Location: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC)

  • Fremantle Ceremony B – October 2026

    Graduation Mass:

    Date: Thursday, 1 October 2026
    Time: 6pm
    Location: St Patrick’s Basilica, Fremantle

    Graduation Ceremonies:

    Date: Friday, 2 October 2026
    Time: TBC
    Location: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC)

  • Photography

    GFP Graduations provide a range of ceremony and portrait photography and video services for each graduation ceremony. Their professional photographers will take a photo of each graduand as they are congratulated by the Chancellor on stage. They will also video each ceremony and this will be available for purchase at the end of your ceremony. GFP will also offer studio photography before or after your ceremony. You may wish to have your testamur framed and GFP are able to do this for you on the day.

  • Regalia

    Graduating students will need to order Regalia and additional information will be included with the ceremony invitation.

    Regalia requirements:

    • Graduands are expected to wear appropriate, semi-formal apparel under their regalia.
    • Graduation Mass: Gown only
    • Graduation Ceremony: Full Academic Regalia
  • Tickets

    Guests are emailed their ticket to attend. Graduates will collect their ticket at the Convention Centre on ceremony day, when they collect their regalia

    Students will be entitled to 2 guest tickets free of charge. Additional guest tickets may be available for purchase following the RSVP date depending on availability. If available, additional tickets per student will be capped and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocation is exhausted.
