The Future You Admissions Pathway is our primary entry pathway for students from schools in low SES areas, designed to support you from application through to your first semester at Notre Dame.
- A $1,000 scholarship to help with the cost of starting university.
- 10 ATAR adjustment factors (also known as bonus points) added to your Notre Dame selection rank.
- Application support including one-on-one or small group sessions with a Notre Dame advisor.
- Transition support from our Uni Success Coaches to help settle into university life.

Applying to Future You
We know you're a person, not a number.
If you attend a Future You school, you will be automatically considered for the Future You Pathway when you submit your application.
Apply through our Early Offer or main round undergraduate entry to secure a place at Notre Dame. If you’re eligible, you’ll be contacted by the Future You team when you receive your offer to study.

What is a Future You school?
Future You schools are high schools with an Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) below 1000. Using our school search you can see if you are attending an eligible school for the Future You Pathway.

How can I apply?
All applicants from Future You schools will be automatically considered for the pathway, whether they apply through our Early Offer program or main round.
Visit our Early Offer page to learn about this pathway program, including important dates, entry requirements, and application instructions.
Apply direct to Notre Dame using our online application form.
Alternatively, NSW students can apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) and WA students can apply via the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC).

When will I hear back?
If you’re eligible for the Future You Admissions Pathway, you’ll be contacted by the Future You team around the time that you receive your offer to study at Notre Dame.
If you have applied for an Early Offer offers are released in rounds from September to December. If you don’t receive an offer in the first round, don’t worry— your application will be considered in later rounds or the main round.
General entry is open from November to March each year.

Can I defer my offer?
You can defer your offer to study at Notre Dame for up to one year (two semesters). However, if you defer, your eligibility for this pathway—including any associated scholarships or support—will be re-assessed prior to your new start date and will depend on available funding at that time.

Are there other scholarships available?
Yes! In addition to the $1,000 Future You scholarship, Notre Dame offers a wide range of scholarships for students who demonstrate academic merit, financial need, leadership, community involvement, are living with a disability, or identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
