Early Offer Program

Are you a high-achieving Year 12 student who wants to study an undergraduate program at a leading Australian university? Do you want to get a head start on your future? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Early Offer Program.

This exclusive program is open to Year 12 students who have demonstrated academic excellence and/or are making a significant contribution to their school, community or church. Such an offer means that you can sit Year 12 exams with added confidence and reduced stress – it’s also a great way for schools to acknowledge their outstanding students.

Early Offer applications for Semester 1 2019 are due 31 July 2018.

Applications for the Sydney Early Offer program can be made at the Sydney Early Offer Program page.

  • Benefits

    The Early Offer Program has a number of personal and academic benefits including:

    • Avoid the stress of Year 12 by securing a university spot before your final exams
    • Be considered for a place in the Notre Dame Leadership Program
    • Be considered for an Academic Merit Scholarship

    Please note: Candidates who are not successful in the Early Offer Program will be automatically considered for the November or January Offers.

  • Selection criteria

    Our Early Offer Program is open to students who can demonstrate academic excellence and are motivated to make a special contribution to society, and/or who can show exceptional personal or leadership qualities. You can demonstrate this by your reports, your exam results, by your active contribution to school, church, or community, by your work achievements and by telling us about your personal or leadership qualities.

    Please note – for the Fremantle Campus Early Offer Program, applicants will need to demonstrate a predicted benchmark ATAR of 93 for the Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Physiotherapy; and a predicted benchmark ATAR of 90 for all other undergraduate programs. For academic capability, all offers are made based on Year 11 and Year 12 reports to date.

  • How to apply

    To apply for the Early Offer Program, you must be nominated by your school and need to include:

    • An application form completed by yourself and your school;
    • A personal statement of 300 words outlining your personal qualities and reasons for choosing your nominated program at Notre Dame;
    • Your Year 11 school reports;

    Upon recommendation by your school for the Early Offer Program and having met the academic requirements, you will be invited for an interview. The interview is an integral part of the admissions process as it gives us an opportunity to get to know you beyond school reports and scores. It is also a time for you to discover more about the University, our programs and staff.
