• Program summary

  The Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education entails the completion of two postgraduate courses from a selection of six courses offered by the School of Education in Fremantle and Sydney.

  Courses include:

  • EDUC6026 Positive Education: Wellbeing and Student Achievement
  • EDUC6055 Building Resilient Teachers and Schools
  • EDUC6260 Pastoral Care and the School
  • EDUC6077 Leading Mindfulness for Learning
  • EDUC6080 Leading Wellbeing in Education
  • EDUC6081 Leading Pastoral Care in Schools

  On completion of the Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education, students can apply for advanced standing into the MEd (Leadership and Management), MEd (Curriculum) or MEd (Religious Education). The amount of advanced standing would depend on the courses completed and the Master of Education specialisation chosen.

• Mode of study and assessment

  The Professional Certificate of Wellbeing in Education is designed as a part-time program that can be completed within two years.  All Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education courses are offered online.

  Course assessment entails a combination of formal essay writing, reflective journaling and scholarly projects.

• Entry Requirements

  To be eligible for admission, all applicants need to satisfy minimum requirements outlined at admission requirements. These include those relating to age and English Language Proficiency.

  For admission to the Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education applicants must also be eligible for teacher registration in Australia.

• Learning outcomes

  Upon successful completion of the Professional Certificate of Wellbeing in Education graduates will be able to:

• Real-world experience

  You will learn from our academics, who are leaders in their field. There are no practicum requirements for this program.

  Domestic Fee-Paying
  A domestic fee-paying place is a place at university where the student is responsible for the full cost the program.

  Eligible domestic fee-paying students may apply for the FEE-HELP loan scheme which assists eligible fee-paying students with the payment of all, or part, of their tuition fees, not including additional study costs such as accommodation or textbooks.
