Other entry pathways

Recent secondary education

For applicants who have completed Year 12 or equivalent within the last two years and are using their ATAR or results in the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), Higher School Certificate (HSC), International Baccalaureate (IB) or equivalent.

Vocational education and training

For applicants who have completed a VET qualification at Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma level at a TAFE or other Registered Training Organisation.  Students who have successfully completed a Certificate IV level qualification at TAFE after Year 12 are considered to have met minimum entry requirements for most courses except Law, Physiotherapy and Education courses.

Higher Education study

For applicants who have completed at least 6 months of a university degree either at the University of Notre Dame or another university.

Work and life experience

For applicants who have:

  1. Completed an acceptable Enabling or Bridging course
  2. Completed the Special Tertiary Admission Test (STAT).  Notre Dame requires applicants to complete both the Written English and Multiple Choice forms of the STAT. Applicants who are 20 years of age on or before March 1 of the year they are due to commence university study are eligible to sit the STAT.  For more information, please visit STAT.
